Winterdays
It is cold in the Netherlands, but with a crisp blue sky and some pink clouds. I love winter days like these. I watched the documentary Brief Encounters about photographer Gregory Crewdson: highly recommended.
Het is koud. Maar wat hou ik van winterdagen als deze, met helderblauwe lucht en roze wolken. Ik keek de documentaire Brief Encounters over fotograaf Gregory Crewdson: een aanrader.

Last summer T. and I went cycling and had a rest in a small forest. All of the sudden we saw little frogs everywhere. And I even managed to photograph one!
Afgelopen zomer rustten T. en ik uit in een klein bos, tijdens een fietstochtje. Ineens zagen we overal kleine kikkers. En het lukte me zelfs om er een te fotograferen!

Winter time
Last weekend we’ve started winter time. I don’t like the fact that it is too dark to take photographs, but the early darkness does feel cosy. And I love the autumn sun in the afternoon.
Het is weer wintertijd. Ik vind het vreselijk dat het te donker is om te fotograferen, maar de vroege donkerte heeft ook wel iets knus en gezelligs. En ik hou van de felle herfstzon in de middag.
The Yvestown Fair
Yesterday I went to help out at the first Yvestown Fair. The weather was amazing and every stall was full of inspirational and creative goods. Yvonne made sure the preparations were immaculate, everything was so pretty. I had such a blast with the whole crew (including Wendel as seen on the picture above) and I loved getting to know blog-collegues I’ve never met in real life. Will you be there next year (too)? I know I will.
Gisteren hielp ik op de eerste Yvestown Fair. Het weer was erg mooi en elke kraam stond vol met inspirerende en creatieve spullen. Yvonne had ervoor gezorgd dat alles geweldig geregeld was en dat het er prachtig uit zag. Ik heb zoveel lol gehad met de hele crew (waaronder Wendel te zien op de bovenste foto) en ik vond het erg leuk om blog-collega’s te ontmoeten die ik nog nooit had gezien. Ben jij er volgend jaar (weer) bij? Ik wel.
