Lomo-saturday


Een paar weken geleden was ik met Anki bij Belle Bazaar, een leuke markt vol mooie spullen in theater De Nieuwe Vorst, Tilburg. De volgende editie is op 17 december. Bovenstaande stand is van Noortje, haar knuffels en ander leuks zijn ook te koop in haar online winkel Discodip.
De foto’s zijn genomen met mijn Nikon FG-20 en een over-de-datum-rolletje.

A few weeks ago Anki and I went to Belle Bazaar, a fun market filled with pretty products in theatre De Nieuwe Vorst, Tilburg. The next edition is on the 17th of December. The stand seen above is by Noortje, she sells her stuffed animals and other great things at her online store Discodip.
The pictures are taken with my Nikon FG-20 and an expired film role.

Lomo-saturday: Flavourites


Vorige week bezocht ik Flavourites Live. Fijn om echt het assortiment van diverse webshops te bekijken en de producten te kunnen oppakken en voelen. Ik ontmoette er veel inspirerende bloggers en niet-bloggers (hi Philomeen! ;)) en werd bijna duizelig van de mooie spullen op zoveel stands. Een van de mooiste winkeltjes vond ik die van Studio de Winkel. Daar stond zoveel gaafs, dat het niet op één foto paste.

Last week I visited Flavourites Live. Nice to really browse through the assortment of products of an array of webshops and to be able to pick up and feel the products. I’ve met a lot of inspiring bloggers and non-bloggers (hi Philomeen! ;)) and felt dizzy seeing all the pretty stuff on so many different stands. One of the prettiest stores was that of Studio de Winkel. They displayed so much niceness, that it didn’t fit on one picture.

Snapshots


Aan het begin van een fotorolletje schiet ik lukraak wat testshots van iets dichtbij. En eigenlijk vind ik die extra foto’s een erg leuke verrassing.

At the beginning of a filmrole I take some test shots from whatever is near. And actually, I quite like these surprising extra pictures.

Lucht


Ik hing met mijn Nikon uit het zolderraam en de lucht werd mooier met de minuut. Ik hou van wolken.

I was hanging out the attic window with my Nikon and the sky was prettier by the minute. I love clouds.

Lomo-saturday: DDW III


Officieel dus geen lomo’s, maar dit rolletje vond ik toch wel in het rijtje passen vandaag. Ik zag bij Piet Hein Eek: zwevende fietsen, oude verzamelingen, nieuwe luxe en daarbovenop flessenbootjes van Floris Hovers. Mooier wordt het toch niet?

Officially no lomo’s, but I think this role fits in today anyway. I saw at Piet Hein Eek: floating bikes, old collections, new luxury and on top of that bottleboats by Floris Hovers. DDW II


Ontwerpkoppel Kiki en Joost zitten sinds een paar maanden met hun atelier, bedrijf en showroom op Strijp-T. Tijdens de DDW stellen zij deze ruimte open voor publiek en voor de tentoonstelling T-Presentation. Sjonge, wat een hoop moois, mijn hoofd tolde. Hierboven links tekeningen aan de waslijn (de kunstenaar heb ik niet kunnen achterhalen) en rechts een aantal fenomenale producten van Ontwerpduo. Die lampen vond ik vorig jaar al inspirerend en ook op mijn Woonbeurs-foto’s vond ik ze terug.
Designduo Kiki and Joost moved to a new studio, workshop and showroom at Strijp-T a couple of months ago. During DDW they’ve opened their space for the public and for an exposition called T-Presentation. Gosh, so much beauty my head was spinning. On the top to the left drawings on a line (I wasn’t able to find out who the artist is) and to the right a few phenomenal products by Ontwerpduo. Last year I found these lamps to be very inspiring already and I rediscovered them on my Woonbeurs-pictures too.

Het werk van Kiki en Joost en hun invulling van de werkruimte, waren voor mij de grootste verrassing van afgelopen zaterdag. Hierboven links een deel van de showroom en rechts Kiki’s installatie Nursery, waar zaden en kiemen vertroeteld worden.

The work of Kiki and Joost and the way they designed their space, were to me the biggest surprise of last saturday. Above to the left you see a part of their showroom and to the right Kiki’s installationNursery, where seeds and germs are being pampered.

DDW I

Het rolletje zat vast volgens de fotograaf of is verkeerd teruggedraaid. Het geeft een soort regenboogeffect, ik vind het wel iets hebben.
Hierboven foto’s genomen in het Klokgebouw, waar ontzettend veel designers hun werk presenteerden. Linksboven de stoelen uit de serie The Happy Misfits: Eames Family, van Rutger de Regt. Rechtsboven mijn T. aan een broodje gegrilde kip. Linksonder een werk van de tentoonstelling Pekka: Contemporary illustration of Finland, from the land of booze and blondes (de kunstenaar heb ik niet kunnen achterhalen) en rechtsonder ‘I like it, what is it?’-lampen van Annebet Philips.
The role was stuck or wasn’t rewinded properly, according to the photographer. It gives a strange rainbow over my pictures and I quite like it.
I took the pictures above in the Klokgebouw, where a lot of designers presented their work. On the top left you see chairs from the The Happy Misfits: Eames Family-series, by Rutger de Regt. On the top right my T. eating a grilled chicken sandwich. On the lower left a work of art from the exposition Pekka: Contemporary illustration of Finland, from the land of booze and blondes (I wasn’t able to find out who the artist is) and on the lower right ‘I like it, what is it?’-lamps by Annebet Philips.
Zowel in het Klokgebouw als daar buiten was van alles te zien. De prachtige stoel links stond op de stand van Studio WM., de geitekop (denk ik) hing in het wild en de tegelpiramide vonden we op Strijp-T, in een ruimte waar onder andere Terratorium mooie tegels liet zien.
Both in the Klokgebouw and outside we saw beautiful things. The gorgeous chair on the left stood in the Studio WM.-stand, the goat head (or so I think) was hanging in the wild and the pyramid of tiles we found at Strijp-T, in a room where Terratorium showed their ceramic tiles.
