Once in a while I get approached by potential sponsors and most of the time I kindly decline, because I don’t want stuff I wouldn’t use or buy myself. But when Eyoba asked me if I was interested in a collaboration and when I was browsing through their wide arrange of dining room chairs and designer chairs, I saw they also sold Magis furniture and got intrigued. Because on top of my wishlist (for either living room or nursery) was this rocking chair designed by Jaime Hayon in the Piña range. I was smitten but it was just too expensive for me. And together with Eyoba this fabulous chair came in reach! So this collaboration was made for me.

I think the chairs are sold in such a small amount that they are custom made. The people at Eyoba were very patient with both the custom order and with giving me information about the delivery period. When it was here I was over the moon. I love the base, the shape, the colour. And it rocks splendidly!

Zo af en toe word ik benaderd door potentiële sponsoren en meestal wijs ik ze vriendelijk af, omdat ik alleen over spullen wil bloggen die ik ook echt zelf gebruik en koop. Toen Eyoba me vroeg of ik geïnteresseerd was in een samenwerking, ik had gekeken in hun brede assortiment eetkamerstoelen en designstoelen en zag dat ze ook meubels van Magis verkochten, was mijn interesse gewekt. Want ver bovenaan mijn verlanglijst (voor woonkamer of babykamer) stond deze schommelstoel ontworpen door Jaime Hayon in de Piña serie. Ik was echt verliefd maar hij was ver boven budget. Samen met Eyoba kwam die fantastische stoel wel binnen bereik, dus deze samenwerking was me op het lijf geschreven.

Volgens mij worden deze stoelen in zo’n kleine oplage verkocht dat ze op maat worden gemaakt. De medewerkers van Eyoba waren erg geduldig met zowel mijn bestelling op maat als het geven van informatie over de levering. Ik was overdonderd toen hij hier werd afgeleverd. De basis, vorm, kleur: geweldig. Hij rockt!
