Anki heeft een prachtig blog en een super gevoel voor stijl. Pas geleden nam ze het besluit om meer te doen met haar talent. Ze ontwierp samen met Casper een aantal posters en ze zijn geweldig goed uitgepakt. Een ervan hangt al aan mijn muur. Gaaf hè?

Anki has a wonderful blog and an amazing sense of style. Recently she decided to do more with her talent. Along with Casper she designed a few posters and they turned out awesome. One of them is hanging on my wall already. Isn’t it great?

Oxo supersale
Gisteren ging ik naar de sale van Oxo, met Anki en Yvonne. Ik keek er al weken naar uit en was niet teleurgesteld: ik kocht de oranje vaas op de linkerfoto, ontworpen door Foekje Fleur. En ik kocht de Plopp stool van Hay (ik zei toch dat ik fan ben), het is een opblaasbare kruk van metaal. Hoe heb ik ooit zonder gekund?
Yesterday I went to the Oxo sale, with Anki and Yvonne. I was looking forward to it for weeks and was not disappointed: I bought the orange vase on the left picture, designed by Foekje Fleur. And I bought Hay’s Plopp stool (didn’t I tell you I am a fan?), it’s a metal blowup stool. How was I ever able to live without it?
Antwerpen
Afgelopen weekend ging ik met Anki en Marieke winkelen in Antwerpen. Veel lol, inspiratie en leuke aankopen op de laatste dag van de uitverkoop: supercombinatie.
Last weekend I went to Antwerp to shop with Anki and Marieke. So much fun, inspiration and good purchases on the last day of sales: perfect combination.

Een paar weken geleden was ik met Anki bij Belle Bazaar, een leuke markt vol mooie spullen in theater De Nieuwe Vorst, Tilburg. De volgende editie is op 17 december. Bovenstaande stand is van Noortje, haar knuffels en ander leuks zijn ook te koop in haar online winkel Discodip.
De foto’s zijn genomen met mijn Nikon FG-20 en een over-de-datum-rolletje.
A few weeks ago Anki and I went to Belle Bazaar, a fun market filled with pretty products in theatre De Nieuwe Vorst, Tilburg. The next edition is on the 17th of December. The stand seen above is by Noortje, she sells her stuffed animals and other great things at her online store Discodip.
The pictures are taken with my Nikon FG-20 and an expired film role.

Lomo-saturday: Flavourites
Vorige week bezocht ik Flavourites Live. Fijn om echt het assortiment van diverse webshops te bekijken en de producten te kunnen oppakken en voelen. Ik ontmoette er veel inspirerende bloggers en niet-bloggers (hi Philomeen! ;)) en werd bijna duizelig van de mooie spullen op zoveel stands. Een van de mooiste winkeltjes vond ik die van Studio de Winkel. Daar stond zoveel gaafs, dat het niet op één foto paste.
Last week I visited Flavourites Live. Nice to really browse through the assortment of products of an array of webshops and to be able to pick up and feel the products. I’ve met a lot of inspiring bloggers and non-bloggers (hi Philomeen! ;)) and felt dizzy seeing all the pretty stuff on so many different stands. One of the prettiest stores was that of Studio de Winkel. They displayed so much niceness, that it didn’t fit on one picture.

Afgelopen zaterdag was ik met Anki en Yvonne in Amsterdam. Gezellig en onwijs inspirerend! Ik kocht fantastische theedoeken van Hay ontworpen door Scholten en Baijings, een vogel-broche van Petra Boase en een horloge van Fullspot. Mooi design maakt me blij!
Last saturday I went to Amsterdam with Anki and Yvonne. So much fun and very inspiring! I bought amazing tea-towels by Hay designed by Scholten en Baijings, a bird brooch by Petra Boase and a watch by Fullspot. Pretty design makes me happy!
Lomo-saturday
Het duurde een eeuwigheid voordat dit zwart-witrolletje vol was. Het is namelijk alweer een hele tijd geleden dat ik met Anki bij Yvonne op bezoek ging in België. Ik ben nog steeds onder de indruk van de ruimte en de sfeer in haar huis. Vandaag spraken we toevallig weer af met z’n drieën en het was weer zo gezellig!
It took ages before this black and white role was filled. It is quite a while ago that Anki and I went to visit Yvonne in Belgium. I am stilled baffled by the size and atmosphere of her home. Today the three of us happened to meet again, and once again we had a great time!

Weer een fijne week en vooral een fijn weekend achter de rug. Gisteren ging ik met Anki en Mus naar Tilburg, we bezochten Les Affaires Jolies, een eendaags mini-warenhuis georganiseerd door kledingzaak Guten Appetit. Ik kocht er onder andere een driehoeken-broche van .Sanne en een porseleinen radijsjes-broche van de getalenteerde Kim Welling. We eindigden de dag met supermarktsushi. Omdat allebei onze mannen de hort op waren en dat vraagt om een feestmaal.
Verder kocht ik weer een camera bij de kringloop. Weer een camera Iris? Yep. De Kodak Brownie Junior was maar 4,50 en dat kon ik niet weerstaan. Ook al weet ik niet eens hoe hij open moet en of er 120mm film in kan. Het is een kunstwerk op zich.
Another fine week and especially a nice weekend. Yesterday I went to Tilburg with Anki and Mus, we visited Les Affaires Jolies, a one day mini compartment store organized by clothing store Guten Appetit. I bought, amongst other things, a textile brooch by .Sanne and a porcelain brooch with radishes by the talented Kim Welling. We ended the day with supermarket-sushi, because both our men were out and about and that calls for something special.
And I bought another camera at a thrift store. Another camera Iris? Yep. The Kodak Brownie Junior was only 4,50 and I couldn’t resist. Even though I don’t know how to open it and whether it works on 120mm roles. It is a work of art.
