Winter

The weather is getting colder and colder, I miss the sun already. I like getting my house ready for the holiday season though! I have sent in a picture of my poodle for the winter animals gallery on the Zilverblauw-blog. Take a look, it is pretty funny.

Het weer wordt kouder en kouder, ik mis de zon nu al. Ik vind het wel leuk om mijn huis alvast klaar te maken voor de feestdagen. Ik heb een foto van mijn poedel ingestuurd voor de winterdieren-gallerie op het Zilverblauw-blog. Neem een kijkje, het is te grappig.

A couple of weeks ago I went to Amsterdam with Anki and of course I brought one of my analogue camera’s.

These pictures are taken with my Canonet QL-19 and a regular 200 iso filmrole. I never edit the colours of my lomo-saturday pictures digitally.

Een paar weken geleden ging ik met Anki naar Amsterdam en natuurlijk nam ik een analoge camera mee.

Deze foto’s zijn genomen met mijn Canonet QL-19 en een normaal 200 iso rolletje. Ik pas pas de kleuren van mijn lomo-saturday foto’s niet digitaal aan.

Options

Friday, Anki and I went for a spontaneous trip to Amsterdam. We came home late at night flooded with pretty purchases, fun and inspiration. I was blown away by the current display at Options, those tables are fantastic.

Vrijdag besloten Anki en ik om naar Amsterdam te gaan. We kwamen ’s avonds laat thuis, overladen met mooie aankopen, lol en inspiratie. Ik was ontzettend onder de indruk van de huidige inrichting van Options, die tafels zijn fantastisch.

Wednesday

It’s a calm and easy wednesday today. I love days like this.

(The poster seen above is by Anki, I don’t get tired of it. The white vase in the second picture is by Bart van Didden and the mint-coloured vase is a vintage vase I painted myself. The gift on the third picture is wrapped by Oxo. On saturday the 9th of march, designers Floris Hovers and Lotty Lindeman will be at their store to talk about their work. Seems fun and inspiring!)

Het is een rustige woensdag vandaag. Ik hou ervan.

(De poster hierboven is van Anki, hij blijft prachtig. De witte vaas op de tweede foto is van Bart van Didden en de groene vaas is vintage en schilderde ik zelf. Het cadeau op de derde foto is van Oxo. Op zaterdag 9 maart zijn designers Floris Hovers en Lotty Lindeman in de winkel om over hun werk te praten. Lijkt me leuk en inspirerend!)

Woensdag

Genieten, zo’n vrije dag halverwege de week. Ik dronk thee bij Anki en Mus en at daarna onverwachts bij mijn ouders. Mijn vader heeft deze week vakantie en had daarom extra lekker gekookt.

What a treat, a day off in the midst of the week. I drank some tea at Mus and Anki’s and afterwards had dinner at my parent’s, unexpectedly. My dad has a week leave of work, so he prepared some extra special treats.

Muur

Ik veranderde de muur boven de kast op onze zolder weer eens. Ik hing een driehoekige lijst op die ik vond bij de kringloop en waar ik behang in deed van Cole and Son. Ernaast hangt de poster Wolf in the Woods van Zilverblauw. De zwaluwen vond ik bij Urban Outfitters, de hanger met diamanten kocht ik bij Celinda. en de koperen hanger maakte ik zelf.

I’ve changed the wall above the cabinet on our attic again. I’ve hung a triangle frame I’ve found at the thrift store and framed some Cole and Son wallpaper. Beside it I’ve put the Wolf in the Woods poster by Zilverblauw. The swallows I found at Urban Outfitters, the diamond-pendant is by Celinda. and the copper pendant I made myself.
